Written by Yoav Grossman

📢 Connect Spinach to Slack in order to:

🏃‍♂️ Easily catch up on meeting summaries

🔍 Managers and stakeholders have increased visibility

✅ Get customized action items

Connect the Slack Integration

  1. Click to connect Slack in Settings

  2. Select the public or private channel you want from the drop down (all new meetings will automatically send to this channel).

  3. In Slack, go to the selected channel and type

    /invite @Spinach AI

🔒For Private channels you need to do step 3 before step 2.

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure your Spinach email is the same one that's connected to your Slack account, otherwise the integration won't be able to connect.

  • If you still see an error screen when connecting, reach out to support at the green chat button below.

  • Can't find your channel in the drop down? Select "Don't See Your Channel?"

💡 Helpful Tips

  • Each meeting can only output to 1 Slack channel at a time

  • You can designate different channels per meeting by opening the meeting on your Schedule page

Remove Slack Integration

Remove your Slack integration anytime by going to Settings -> clicking the x next to Slack -> Confirm removal of Slack.

Slack Huddles

Spinach can record your Huddles and it's easy to set it up, just follow the steps in Settings.

Before you start: recording Huddles requires a paid Slack seat for the Spinach bot and Slack admin access to invite it. The setup wizard in Settings walks you through connecting your workspace, choosing whose Huddles Spinach follows, and inviting bot@slack.spinach.io.
