How do I add Spinach to my meeting?
Connect your Google or Microsoft Calendar here
Toggle Spinach on in the dashboard.
Allow Spinach into your video call from the waiting room at the time of the meeting
I added Spinach to the calendar, but I didn’t receive a summary
Make sure to allow Spinach into the video call from the waiting room. You should see Spinach as a meeting participant (see image).
Make sure there are other participants on the calendar invite - Spinach doesn't work if there's only 1 person on the invite.
I added Spinach to the calendar, but don’t see Spinach in the waiting room?
Make sure to join the video link on the calendar invite where Spinach is added.
I forgot to add Spinach ahead of time! Can I invite Spinach to a meeting that is in progress?
Yes, you can go into Future Meetings and toggle Spinach on. It will join in 1-2 minutes.
When does Spinach join?
Spinach joins 2 minutes before the meeting starts or 1-2 minutes after invited to an in-progress meeting and waits 5 minutes for others to join.
What happens if the meeting starts late?
Spinach is always on time and waits 5 minutes for someone to join the meeting. If no one joins after 5 minutes, Spinach will leave.
Tip: Change the calendar event time if you know you are going to start late, so Spinach knows when to join.
Is there a time limit for how long the meeting with Spinach can be?
Yes, Spinach currently supports meetings up to 3 hours. If your meeting goes past 3 hours, you will not receive a summary, even if Spinach was in the meeting. Here is how to use Spinach for long meetings or events.
How many people from the meeting need to add Spinach to the call?
Only one person per meeting needs to add Spinach to the call.

Does Spinach support meeting rooms, in-person or hybrid meetings?
Spinach isn't currently optimized for in-person or conference style meetings but we have a recommended way to use Spinach for these meetings.
Can we pause Spinach during the call so that it doesn't record parts of the conversation?
You can go Off the Record anytime and stop Spinach from recording parts of the conversation
Type pause in your video chat to pause recording. When you're ready to record, type resume.
How do I get Spinach back on a meeting if it's not joining or if it dropped?
Click the Rejoin button next to this meeting that you're currently on.
Spinach should then attempt to join the meeting (lookout in the waiting room).
If Spinach still doesn't join, let us know after you have tried this.
Does our meeting have to be in English? Can we use with other languages?
Spinach supports over 100 languages.
Do you speak non-English but want your summaries sent in English? Go to Settings and select your speaking language, and Spinach will translate accurately to English
Do you want your summaries sent in your native language? Go to Settings and select the language you want the summaries sent in.
Summary
When will I receive the summary?
Within a few minutes after the meeting.
If you haven't received a summary after 20 minutes, check your Drafts tab first, in case you had edit setting on. Make sure to press Send to officially publish the summary
If you've tried both of these things, reach out to support.
Who receives the summary?
Everyone on the calendar invite by default will receive a summary in their inbox.
You can control these settings with a subscription.
How can I limit the summary output to just me? I don't want the summary sent to the whole team.
You can limit summary output to just yourself on all of your meetings or on selective ones. You can also change recipients after a meeting happened.
I didn't receive the summary
Check your spam folder for emails from @spinach.ai
Did you see Spinach as a participant in the meeting? Make sure to let it in from the waiting room to join your meeting.
If your meeting is longer than 3 hours, Spinach might fail recording the meeting. Here is how to use Spinach for long meetings or events.

Removing Spinach
How can I stop Spinach from recording a part of the conversation?
You can go Off the Record anytime and stop Spinach from recording parts of the conversation
Type pause in your video chat to pause recording. When you're ready to record, type resume.
How can I remove Spinach from a meeting?
Go into Future Meetings and toggle Spinach off: This will prevent Spinach from joining the meeting
If Spinach is in the call, type remove or kick in the chat and Spinach will leave.
How do I delete a summary or transcript?
Select your meeting in Meeting History from the dropdown and then click on the 3 buttons on the right side.
Deleting the summary will delete it for all recipients.
How do I delete my data or account?
Go to your Account tab here and proceed with managing your account.
